A 3rd year student of the bachelor's educational program "Biotechnology and Bioengineering" in the specialty G21 Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Artem Lazaruk, took part in the international Study Tours to Poland program, which took place from May 10 to 19 in the cities of Białystok, Wasylkiv and Warsaw.
Artem is actively involved in communication and public activities: he works in the advertising department of the university and is a member of the public organization "Conscious Choice". That is why participation in the program dedicated to public activism, media, volunteering, intercultural dialogue and the development of civil society was a particularly valuable experience for him.
As part of the program, participants participated in trainings, lectures and master classes on issues of local self-government, civic activism, media, volunteering, intercultural dialogue and civil society development.
They also visited state and public organizations, got acquainted with the work of Polish media and cultural institutions, talked with representatives of foundations, volunteers, experts and program participants.
“Study Tours to Poland was a great opportunity for me to gain new knowledge, international experience, interesting acquaintances, inspiration for further development and unforgettable emotions that I will always remember!” — Artem shares his impressions.
