The Department serves as the graduating unit for specialty 076 Entrepreneurship and Trade. It also conducts instruction in the statistical and analytical block of disciplines.
The Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade integrates the best achievements, traditions, and historical contributions of two predecessor departments and their renowned scholars. The faculty maintains a deep connection and sense of responsibility toward the long-standing and distinguished history of these prior units. The Department is distinguished by an organic combination of universal and specialized academic components, engaging applied scientific research, and extensive collaboration with domestic and international institutions and agribusiness enterprises.
The educational process is organized in accordance with modern educational standards and trends in higher education.
The Department’s curriculum comprises three cycles of disciplines:
- Statistical and Analytical Cycle: statistics, statistical data processing, economic analysis and market research, investment analysis of IT projects, financial analysis, business analytics, analysis of economic activity.
- Entrepreneurship Cycle: entrepreneurship and business culture, business processes, entrepreneurial risks, entrepreneurial planning and organization, international entrepreneurship, innovative entrepreneurship, venture entrepreneurship, commercial activity, entrepreneurial motivation, management of competitiveness and business efficiency, design of innovative business development, agribusiness organization.
- Trade and Economic Cycle: organization of trade and trading enterprises, commodity science and basic expertise of goods, retail networks, trade entrepreneurship, quality and safety of goods, sales and client service management.

Socio-political and socio-economic transformations in Ukraine have had a profound impact on the modern education system. In 2018, the Department underwent restructuring and was renamed the Department of International Economic Relations and Marketing.
The Department is currently headed by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Andriy Oleksandrovych Lyndiuk.
It serves as the graduating department for the following programs:

Today, the Department of Management named after Professor Yevhen V. Khraplyvyi is one of the leading structural units of Lviv National Environmental University, providing training for management professionals across all sectors of the national economy. The Department offers bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs in specialty 073 Management, within the field of Management and Administration.
The teaching staff consists of highly qualified educators who continuously enhance their professional skills and competencies. The educational process at the Department effectively combines theoretical knowledge with practical training, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for highly paid employment in leading domestic and international companies, public administration bodies, and entrepreneurial organizations.

Throughout its existence, the Department’s faculty has developed proposals and provided recommendations to meet the needs of the agricultural sector, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of its organizational and legal structures. During the reform of Ukraine’s agrarian sector and the development of transformational processes, the Department worked on improving, shaping, and establishing new forms of management while increasing their economic efficiency under market conditions.
Faculty members of the Department consistently provide practical assistance to agricultural producers. On numerous occasions, they have been engaged by regional government institutions to prepare forecasts, plans, and recommendations for the development of the agrarian economy and rural areas in Lviv region and Western Ukraine.
Among their notable contributions are the Concept of Agricultural Development of the Western Region of Ukraine, as well as recommendations on the establishment of corporate, farming, and cooperative enterprises, including methodologies for determining their scale, specialization, and adaptation to the diverse natural and economic zones of Lviv region. They have also developed recommendations for improving national land legislation and the taxation system of agricultural enterprises, as well as for defining land payments, pricing mechanisms, and land valuation in Ukraine’s agriculture. In addition, the Department has contributed to the regulation of internal economic relations within farming and cooperative enterprises.

The Department of Accounting and Taxation was among the founding units of the Faculty of Economics at Lviv National Agrarian University. Training in accounting at the University began in the 1960s. As a separate structural unit, the Department was established in January 1971 through the division of the Department of Accounting and Statistics. In 1994 it was renamed the Department of Accounting and Finance, in 1999 the Department of Accounting and Auditing, and in 2016 it received its current name, the Department of Accounting and Taxation.
The high quality of education at the Department is evidenced by the consistent success of its students, who regularly win top places in national competitions and Olympiads in accounting, as well as in contests for scientific and diploma projects and student research conferences. The academic achievements of students and postgraduate researchers are further promoted by the annual scientific conference organized by the Department, with proceedings published each year in a dedicated collection. Recent scientific and methodological publications of the Department were devoted to the 160th anniversary of the University’s foundation.
